Looking Forward

There comes a moment in life when you realize your story was never just about you.

For a long time, I thought the challenges I faced were interruptions. The setbacks. The disappointments. The unexpected turns. I kept wondering when life would finally slow down so I could simply enjoy the journey.

Then I realized something.

The journey wasn't happening to me.

It was preparing me.

Every experience taught me something I couldn't have learned any other way. Every closed door challenged me to grow. Every difficult season gave me a deeper understanding of people, compassion, resilience, and the importance of showing up for others.

That's where ThatGalStorme was born.

Not as a business.

Not as a brand.

But as a promise.

A promise to use every lesson I've learned to help someone else move forward.

Whether that means helping a family plan a vacation they've dreamed about for years, advocating for someone who feels unheard, sharing resources that change a life, preparing a meal that brings people together, or simply offering encouragement when it's needed most, the mission remains the same.

To help people build better lives through service.

I don't believe success is measured only by income, titles, or accomplishments.

I believe success is measured by the number of lives we're willing to touch along the way.

Travel has a unique way of changing people. It opens our eyes to new places, new cultures, and new possibilities. Advocacy reminds us that every voice deserves to be heard. Education creates opportunities that can last for generations. Even sharing a meal has a way of bringing people together, reminding us that community often begins around a table.

At first glance, these things may seem unrelated.

To me, they're all connected.

They're simply different expressions of the same purpose.

Service.

Life has taught me that we rarely know what tomorrow holds. Plans change. Dreams evolve. New opportunities appear where we least expect them. While we can't always control our circumstances, we can choose how we respond to them.

We can choose kindness over bitterness.

Hope over fear.

Growth over comfort.

Service over self.

As I look ahead, I don't pretend to have every answer. I'm still learning. I'm still growing. I'm still building. Like many people, I continue to dream, to fail, to celebrate small victories, and to discover new paths I never imagined taking.

That's okay.

Growth isn't about having everything figured out.

It's about taking the next faithful step.

My hope is that this space becomes more than a website.
